  1. Ok, well, huh. So that was really awkward, I thought. That would be my emotional response to the video. I did not have the same interpretation of what the music sounded like at all. I thought it should have had just one person dealing with some inner demons or something.

It sounded like only wind instruments and horns, I could be wrong. I thought I heard an oboe maybe and french horn. I can't be sure though.

The relation of song and dance was that in the beginning the music was sort of soft and highlighted the soft sexuality of the women but then when the men got involved the music got rougher and there seemed to be much tensions between the men and women.

    Ok, thats all I got.

  2. This kind of disturbed me. For some reason i feel that these women were raped, or taken advantaged of.

I think I heard a vary amout of different horns, and maybe a volin. Im not sure.

The rhyme is calm and but fast in the beginining as the women dance. The rhyme reminds me of wind or time moving. Its not too loud but then its not to quite either. When the men start to dance the music became more tension and deeper. Its faster then it was in the begining.

The relation between the music and dance was the interaction between the women and the men. As the women grew closer to dancing with the men the more tension the music got, and the more tension the dancing got. Everything started to become faster as well. This created emotion.

  3. Very weird Mr. Carpenter, and who knows that is the reason behind this maybe only Stravinsky himself. Well there was a lot of sexual tension going on and it seemed like the battle of the sexes, and how women felt that they were portrayed maybe? I heard oboes, and horns, and percussion perhaps. The dancing related to the emotion of the music in the way it was depicted. Anger was obvious through the intense music when the pople were dancing together. Even women the women danced alone it was sort of mellow to maybe prove a point? Well yeah that's all I think.

  4. Well... This was kind of out there! Not to much of something I would like! My emotional reaction to it was to turn my computer off!

One thing I know I heard for sure was horns! Thats All I'm sure of.

The rythem changes it seems to the emotions of the dancers. It dosen't stay the same to much in the video

The song went along with the calimness of the woman! But as it went on it got rough.... like us men could be!
